First let me say that I found this tour by surfing on the Internet, neither of us had ever taken a guided tour before; having said that we would never take one again. Tours are NOT for people who wish to relax on their vacation, they are for people who want to see a lot in a very short period of time. It was very much like boot camp. We were up before sunlight almost everyday of the tour so that we could get to our destinations with plenty of time to see what we came there to see. I will say this much for the tour it was well organized and we did see a lot of places.
I highly recommend that you bookend your tour should you take one. I extended our stay in New York City and Washington D.C. by one day each.
This is the itinerary for the tour. Keep in mind that although breakfast starts at 6:30 you have to be showered and repacked before you go to eat. So usually your day starts about 5:00am!
